Ripoff dishonest fradulant charges

In Jan06, I checked prices on Direct TV, while being a Dish customer. I was told these great prices, including Showtime and HBO. I decided to switch to Direct. Direct TV suggested that I not disconnect Dish until Direct was installed. The installer came out and called customer service thru his direct line. I discussed the payment I was given. He called and verified. Everything was matched. I explained to him that I didn't want to waste his time if the price was incorrect. Since everything matched, I told him to install the hardware. He was great, friendly and informative. After everything was complete he called his customer service to begin service. I asked to speak with the agent. She did verify the amount, BUT didn't add in the boxes, remotes, DVR, all rental property. Those things alone added up to about $40 more a month.

This was never told to me by anyone. I apologized to the technician and had him remove everything. He said he understood and wasn't told that either. I never used any of their service, because I still had dish. He removed everything, or so I thought! A few weeks later I got a letter from them stating I owed something like $76 for removal of the direct hardware, (the big dish). I had no idea he had left them, or that I would have to pay for that! I called them and wrote to them, no response. Six months later, I get a letter from an attorney stating this is now in their hands. Since I hadn't heard anything I thought it was taken care of. I never used the service. Why should I have to pay for them to pick up ths dish, when the tech left it here, still never used. It cost too much money to change! Anyway, I have/had perfect credit, 0% interest to 29.9% just because of this! It's ruined my credit for nothing! They are now threatening me. Can you help?
