Best Buy
Uses misleading or false statements to sell extended warranties ripoff

Electronics and household app.

I went to Best Buy twice in the past month, once to buy an Xbox 360 and once again a week later to buy another game for it. Twice I was fed outright false statements by the cashier. I was told in both circumstances that I should get an extended warranty for the 360 and the game I was buying because according to them, the Xbox 360 does not have a cooling system.

Excuse me, but when I check the back of any Xbox 360, there are plenty of tiny holes and 2 very noticeable fans mounted behind the vent holes. To me that's a cooling system. Not a very good one maybe, but it is a cooling system.
