More Xbox problems - Xbox 360

We are on our 3rd Xbox 360 after the first 2 died. This one seemed to be reliable until a few months ago when it started getting errors when doing updates. I called Microsoft and was told the error was because the system had been hacked. I nformed them that I had not hacked the system and offered to sent it to them so they could look for themselves. I was told that they can not do that and that I would have to purchase another xbox. I asked "how do I know this won't just happen to the next one I buy" and was told "I can't guarantee it won't". I am personally done with Xbox, time to buy a PS3.
