Vintec Camera Repair Ripoff Estimates are not honored, poor business practices

I took my Nikon SLR in for repair. I was called 2 days later and told the cost of the repair would be $56.40. Finally after a month and having to call repeatedly to find out the status of my repair, my son goes in to pick up the camera. He calls to tell me the charge is different from what I had told him. I spoke to Vincent Ifowke and he tells me that's just the way it is. There is no way I was quoted something different than what I was charged. Vincent refused to talk to me so I go to the store myself. I get there and Vincent tries to tell me if there was a mistake made in the estimate that it was too bad there was nothing he could do. He is the owner of the place. He started telling me he had a clear conscience and then started quoting scriptures to me. How a man that is trying to rip you off can quote scriptures is beyond me. I inspected my camera and found that the shutter had been bent. Vincent told me they didn't work on that part of the camera so there is no way they caused the problem. I told him I planned on reporting him to the BBB and he told me he didn't care that he repairs over 20,000 cameras a year, he has more business than he needs. Beware if you take your camera equipment to this shop, you may end up with more problems than you walked in with.
