Ripoff tried to return in 3 days and they would not refund my money

Electronics and household app.

I was looking for an Xbox 360 on line to get for my sons b-day. Went on a website called and found one that i thought was not too bad of a price.

I orderd it on it on Feb 20th. It was shipped out on Feb 21st i received it on Feb 23rd or 24. H 2006.
Let my son have it on Feb 26th, he played it for a few days and on Feb 28th the Xbox froze up and gave me an error message telling me to try all these things to try and fix it and if that did not work then the machine must be damaged.

I sent Best Toys an email telling them that i had a problem with the Xbox and wanted an authoraztion number to return it, their response was per our return policy you will need to ship it to Microsoft and they will send you a new one in 2 weeks, i did not want to wait 2 weeks because my son wanted it then so he could play with it.

I replied to them telling them i just want my money back and i got no response. Tried calling and emaling them and could not get anyone to answer so on March 8th i sent it back to them via UPS within 2 weeks they sent it back to me. I then called my credit card company and filed a complaint and it took them a while to get up with someone there. They told them that per their return policy to contact them for instructions and the instruction was to send it back to Microsoft not them.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of NY after a few weeks their reply was that per Best Toys return policy that they could not accept any returns with in 7 days and that after 7 days you will need to return it to Microsoft. My credit card company was told 3 days in which i am well with in both days. So i repied and told them of the comflicting stories and ask to re open the case.

They did and i just got their response and it was Best Toys said It is their return policy that they do not accept returns pass 7 days however you may send the item back to Microsoft. They also told them that they had no record where i contacted them within the 7 days and since the customer (Me) has already submitted a charge back claim with my credit card company that they connot issue any reimbursement. My credit card company paid them and i still have it on my charge card. So they have their money and i still have the broken Xbox still in the box they sent it back to me in.

They just do not want to refund my money. I went out and bought my son another one but not online. I will never order anything big online, if i had bought it at & or any other store i could have returned it within 30 days. This comapny is a ripoff...
