Ripoff Phone upgrade paid for phone with credit card also got billed on my phone bill

On Feb 19 I upgraded one of my phone line with Sony W600i. I went on cingular.com and under accounts you can upgrade your phone if your contract been a year or 2 year is over. I paid the $280.99 with my Chase credit card got the phone checked my Chase statement sure enough Cingular had there money. Month later my bill came to $ 460 my bill is only around $ 135 I checked the bill why it was so high I discovered that Cingular charged my phone bill for the phone when I paid it with my credit card. I called Cingular and they are saying I didn't pay it with my credit card and I need to pay for it. I have proof that Cingular did take the money from my credit card I even have the statement.

I took my credit card statement to Cingular Owned store The salesman took my ID and Statement he verified that I paid for the phone and inputted the information. Called Cingular they cant find anything that I went to store. I faxed my credit card statement which I didn't wanted with my all my personal info but I wanted to get this over so I faxed it no one has fix the problem. I got a call from Cingular that I had to pay for the phone bill or my phone would be disconnected. The guy try to solve the problem but couldn't go further because they couldn't find my credit card statement that I faxed second time.

I need to get this fixed so I can pay for the phone bill and not get my self into collection agency since I'm in middle of getting my house purchased.

I have emailed Attorney General of California Bill Lockyer no calls yet from his office.

What are my options? If there is any lawyers out there that can help please let me know.
