On 3/24/05, I purchased insurance on phones I bought that day. Salesman indicated if problems, just go to any Verizon location at any time since I had insurance. I did go on 4/11/06 and was told since I'd had the phones over a year, I had to call a different company and pay a $50 deductible, then replacement phone would be mailed. They applied the insurance to only one phone, and that was 7 months after the purchase date? Several calls to customer was a waste of time and resulted in severe frustration. Customer service was unbending in THEIR ERRORS. I told them I felt they had scammed me and they replied that they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do, however I could go get "an upgrade on my phone." That would lock me into yet another year on to my contract. I don't think so. They obviosly do not give a rat's ass about their customers. I am going to produce truthful flyers and put them on every vehicle at every location here. Every chance I get. Anybody dealing with them should be forewarned they will scammed and ripped off by VERIZON WIRELESS.
