Ripoff 4 year old television breaks down 2 times

I purchased an RCA TV. Model F25649, Serial No. B432B3047 on Jan. 5. On July 24, the television broke down. We had no Picture. The TV went in for repair for a broken Joint that had to be sodered. This cost $102.00.

Now, on Nov. 29, not even four years from the time of the purchase, the TV was on when all of a sudden it turned off, had a blank screen, and a siren type noise continued to come from the TV. There was smell of burning rubber coming from the back of the TV. The loud siren type noise contined even when the TV was not turned on. It had to be unplugged to stop the noise. No picture ever came back onto the TV. Only the loud siren type noise was present when it was plugged in.

Now RCA does not want to compensate the consumer because there is only a 1 year waranty on this product. I do not feel that a four year old TV should break twice and basically be ready for the garbage. If so, what kind of products are they manufacturing.
