Apple computers, note books & i pods are huge ripoff! Sent me a dead i pod & admit batteries are no good! I paid $300

I bought an i book that cost me $2000.in June. I purchased an i pod that cost me $300. And an Apple Care package for $350.00. I am a novice. I didn't know that the problems I was having with my power book G4 was unusual. I can't send e-mails and it's extremely slow. I have spent unsurmountable hours on the phone regarding these issues. Nothing has changed.

The i pod that I bought never fully charged and keeps freezing after 5 minutes - THEN!!! The battery empties out and it dies. I called them and told them that their battery is no good, that the i pod freezes and they told m e too bad.

I have spent so much money on these items that I could throw up. I feel that this is a crime and I wish there were attornies viewing this sight that cared enough to protect the consumer by organizing class action suites against these companies.

The Better Business Bureau is a fraud. They do nothing with their complaints. I am calling Michael Finney to give this sight a plug. Consumers need to demand and receive quality products and guarantees.

(see link below) is the only place I will EVER buy anything again. They back up there products-PERIOD. They don't give you attitude about your returns, they just don't. If you save your receipt for 10 years, you can return your item. That's a fact.

I just saw a whole news clip a few days agao regarding the i pod battery. It's made of lead and is no good. People were picketing Apple Computers in Silicon Valley over this issue and I am so glad that I happened to see that news clip. It prompted me to write this complaint knowing that there is strength in numbers.

This sight needs exposure. Everyone of you who reads this should contact a consumer advocate from your local news area. Make businesses be fair. Make them back up their products. It's our hard earned money and it shouldn't be held hostage.
