On June 14th I phoned Apple Computers and ordered the following:
Power Book G-4 @ 1,938.00
Apple I-pod @ 269.00
Ink jet bubble printer @ 99.00
Apple Care plan @ 332.00
In total, I have spent 2778.70 and have never been able to use any of these items.

I started having problems with Power book & I-pod from the start.

I did not know that my Apple Care plan did not cover my Ipod. When I called Apple about the Ipod skipping, freezing & jamming & dying, they told me they couldn't help me because I didn't have I-care plan coverage. I also told Apple that my battery wouldn't hold a charge. Again, no case # given, no real records because I didn't have coverage.

They did not refer me to a site, nor would they acknowledge any known problems with their products. They get phone calls all day and are directed by Apple not to give any information NONE AT ALL. NOT WANTING TO ADMIT PROBLEMS, NOT WANTING PUBLIC OR CONSUMERS TO KNOW.
POWER BOOK G-4:

Fan doesn't turn on, over heats after minutes of use.
Cannot send or receive e-mil.
Cannot maintain a connection
Canot convert to dial up for travel
Cannot use airport card because it doesn't work.
Bought & returned two base stations-THEY DID NOT WORK.
Had EARTH LINK, SBC, AND COMCAST provide me with service thinking it was their fault-NONE

Took Power Book G-4 to Apple autherized dealer in Santa Rosa Ca. They said they couldn't find the problem.
Apple Safari said my system was obsolete and I had to by an upgrade-did not do that. G-4 crashes cnstantly.

Internet cable blinks on and off-connection for battery is falty. Battery runs low, can't use lap top without it being plugged in. Websites are fragmented.
Pictures are distorted from media I have loaded.
Navigation bar jumps ahead and enters old information-cannot navigate. RAINBOW BALLS ALL OVER THE PLACE
BLACK & WHITE SOCCER BALLS ALL OVER THE PLACE.
G-4 takes 5 minutes to upload, then crashes.
Screen goes dimn.

All website attempts have been rejected saying that my program is obsolete and I need to upgrade, that it's free-BUT IT'S NOT FREE!!!

I have spent THREE YEARS WITH THESE PROBLEMS AND NOBODY WILL HELP ME. Apple gives you a case # and never does anything about anything. They just instruct their employees to act suprized and never admit or acknowledge anything.

Come to find out that this is all over the internet and APPLE HAS KNOWN ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS ALL ALONG.
I sent in my Power Book G-4 on NOV 18. They have never sent it back. I have sent e-mails over and over & got automated reponses. I called back and they offered me another Power Book G-4 and I refused because it is OBSOLETE AT THIS POINT AND IS SO PROBLAMATIC AND APPLE IS SO DISHONEST THAT I REJECTED THE OFFER. I have asked for a full refund and Apple is mulling it over. I will hear back from them by March 3rd 2006. I will take them to small claims court and get a full refund.
They are an unscrupulous company who deliberately deceives, misleads, refuses to inform, refuses to acknowledge ANYTHING WRONG WITH THEIR PRODUCTS. Apple could do the right thing and chooses to do the wrong thing at every opportunity and at every turn. They need to be punished.

They need to be held accountable. Everyone should contact their local news and report this FLEECING OF CONSUMERS TODAY!!!

The BBB (Better Business Bureau) does nothing at all to protect consumers, they are paid by the companies to mislead us into thinking they help CONSUMERS AND THEY DO NOTHING.

Please contact the Attorney General in your state regarding this company. There is something terribly wrong with this country. Companies that are deceptive, that have no integrity, that fail to do what is right need to be held accountable. If people don't take the time to write, nothing will change-so get busy!!! I want my $2,778.70 back. I deserve more for all the time and money spent on new service providers, driving, writing, time on hold, time on the phone etc.

I will never buy another apple product as long as i live and nobody else should either.
