Ripoff will not exchange defective phone for a different one

Electronics and household app.

I got a two-year contract last march with an LG VX6000 phone, and a Samsung for a second line. A few months later, the LG phone started dropping calls, it would not dial, and people that I would call or would call me tell me that they can't hear me. And eventually the call would drop.

Well, since the Samsung phone never has this sort of problem, it's obvoious that it's not the service. So I walked in a verizon wireless store and told them my situation. They switched the phone for the exact same model. No problem with me.

A few weeks later, the same problem started happening. So again, I walked into another store and did another exchange.in total, I have exchanged the phone about six times. Just the other day, I exchanged it. And I told them if I could exchange it for a different model, since it's obvious to me that these LG phones are defective. They said they would actually need to see the problem before they can do that. Well, as you know, these problems never occur when they test them out right in front of you.

I don't like to keep exchanging the phone every few months for the year that I have left. Who would? Anyways, the fourth time that I walked in to exchange the phone, a customer with the exact same phone walked in, stood next to me, complaining on having the same problem. That's another clue that it's not the service, as they claim.

I'm not even allowed to upgrade my phone until Jan.. 2 months before my contract is over. Why would I wanna upgrade then? I don't think I'm sticking with this company anymore. My next step is to contact the corporate office and see what they have to say. If anyone has this sort of problem, particularly with the LG VX6000, post and let me know what you have done.
