Blatent Scam Rebate Ripoff

Rebate Fraud:

Purchased an ADS Tech DVD Express from Comp USA that had a $40 manufacturer mail in rebate for purchases made 11/26/04 - 11/27/04. Purchase was made (and shown on receipt) 11/26/04.

I received an email (that was found in my junk email folder) that the rebate was "denied for the following reasons: ORIGINAL PURCHASE WAS NOT MADE DURING THE REBATE PERIOD PCHSED —VALID DATES: 11/26/04-11/27/04"

Given that they only had 2 dates to choose from, and 11/26 was one of them, I cannot believe that these people are doing any honest work at this company.
