Poor Customer Service - compute

Electronics and household app.

I will make it short. I attempted to have my computer serviced at the Best Buy in Wheaton, Maryland. I was told that the Geek Squad could wipe my hard drive if they found something wrong. I protested that I should at least get a call since the only issue was that the port to my charging cable was broken. I was told that is not how it worked. I asked to speak to a manager who confirmed. I asked to see the written policy and that is when all hell broke loose. LET'S SAY I ended up saying something not so nice and not very so professional "you are being an ass". The general manager unilaterally decided that Best Buy would not honor my protection agreement because he did not like my attitude. When I called customer service, I got more of the same. Of course, customer service said that they will honor my agreement at a different store. Now, I could involve my lawyer but what is the point. I paln to get my computer fixed and never do business with them again. It really is that simple. If you hate the service you recieve, give your business to someone else. That is how you stick it to organizations like best buy.
