Bought this washer only 2.7 years ago. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. The agitator (if that is what you want to call it) has stopped moving so now swishing the clothes around and no spinning just fills up with water and then drains. My husband (who is a plumber) bypassed the magnet so that we could watch it do its stuff. I have never liked this washer from the moment I got it. I had a whirlpool washer for 10 years and had no problems with it. I am very unhappy with this washer and hate the idea that after only 2.7 years I have to buy another one. I can't wait to be free from this poorly designed mishap. Never buy GE again. Oh and my husband tries all the trouble shooting methods that it shows online to do and it still is not working properly.
