Going Platinum - Webinity
Ripoff lies deceit promises Lancaster Pennsylvania

Education & Science

"Alan Catalan, former CEO of "Going Platinum" is now planning to open another internet program after failing miserably with the GP program. The new site will be named webinity and have:

(izogo) A portal where you can read all the news, check the stock market or sports scores, etc. And share in the revenue generated by your online presence and that of your member downlne.

(Mebates) For shopping and promised cash back on every $ you spend.

(Shmoozit) A Forum and Chat Community with Voice/Video/Text and revenue sharing.

The concept seems brilliant, but then it is also the same concept that failed for Alan Catalan with Going Platinum and caused many members to lose, not gain financially.

Employees at Going Platinum were also ripped off, some were let go being owed thousands of dollars and even though Alan Catalan has stated more than once that a settlement was being worked out, not one ex-employee has seen one cent or even heard from him.

Going Platinum has liens and judgements filed against it in the Lancaster County Courthouse, filed by numerous creditors that were never paid by Alan Catalan.

Alan Catalan rented a building in the Greenfield Industrial Park for which rent was never paid. He operated Going Platinum out of that building for 9 months. There is a judgement in the Lancaster County Courthouse from the owners, "High Properties Inc." for $1.2 million.

The Securities Exchange Commission has filed charges against Alan Catalan/Going platinum

The links above provide very interesting and important information concerning the man (Alan Catalan) who is now planning to open webinity, izogo, mebates and shmoozit.

Alan Catalan has continually lied for almost 4 years now to his membership in order to keep the money coming in. He's stalled time after time, come up with fantastic excuses to keep from paying the members and although the majority have opened their eyes and stopped paying into his schemes, he still has a few followers.

Alan Catalan may try to open a new program but he still has not been cleared of charges made by the Securities Exchange Commission nor has he settled with past creditors/ex-employees.

In my opinion, webinity is a copy of Going Platinum, except for the cosmetic changes, the concept is about the same but most importantly, the man running it, Alan Catalan is the same and his past speaks for itself.

Anyone planning to join webinity, should research on Alan Catalan and Going Platinum, see what the past can tell you about the man and his programs BEFORE you invest a penny or you may lose much more than that later!
