Accurate Balancing Agency - Alan Penson
Stole money from employees!

This complaint is against Alan Penson, Owner of Accurate Balancing Agency, in Portland, Oregon. Alan failed to pay his employees (about 11 of us) and myself Prevailing wage rate on Prevailing Wage Projects as stated by the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI). Testing, Adjusting and Balancing work is classified under the Sheet Metal Classification in most of the US and Canada, and Mr Penson ignored this and only paid us what he saw fit, $10 dollars an hour, and in this area, its as high as $47.99! Had I known this, I would have left.

Alan Penson was required to repay the money, and then secretly asked us to give the money back to Alan Penson to keep Accurate Balancing Agency above ground, and we foolishly agreed. Alan Penson then continued to break the laws in other states such as Washington.
