Rip-off!

I was in dire straits financially when a man called me asking if I wanted to apply for this government grant for as little as $8000 or as much as $25000. It would cost me $249.00. I did not give the man any account information but on july 4th a debit for $249 came out of my checking account.

I called their "customer service" and the man would only tell me that my package would be here in 7-14 days. Feeling a scam coming on I asked for his supervisor and he hung up on me. I have called back a number of times and gotten stupid stories and hung up on. Watch out people. Bad news here. I would like advice on how to get my money back. Someone let me know.
