This business is a ripoff waste of time and money

American Home Shield has been nothing but a problem since I have had it.

On 7/15/02 ASH sent Air Zone to my home because I called them about my air conditioning, it was not cooling the house and the fan was not turning.

Once they came to the house and looked at the air conditioner the said that their was nothing that they could do because it was not installed properly, and that I would have to call the company that installed it.

I then called Ryan Air Inc. They came out the next day they replaced the motor at no charge because it was under warranty, they told me that it was installed properly and that the Air Zone Company lied to me so that they would not have to replace it.

This was the first and last time I used AHS. They called to let me know that they were no longer going to insure my air conditioner. At that time I told them I no longer needed their services.

AHS said that I would have to put that in writing and I did. They stopped removing the monthly payment from my account, and just when I thought it was over they sent a letter that says my account is past due for the amount of $152.64.

I called them to ask why and they said that I failed to make my monthly payment. I refuse to pay for something I do not have and do not want.

I have done everything they asked me to do to discontinue service, they are the ones that stoped removing the monthly payment from my account and now they want me to pay them for doing so.
