Rip-off

We received a call from a woman from this ripoff credit collection agency. She asked to speak to my husband. I explained he was not home.

She said is this his wife, I said yes. She asked when we would be able to pay an AT&T bill for $95.79. I explained we were expecting our tax check tomorrow.
She asked me for a CC#. I told her we do not have a CC. She then asked for a post-dated check. I told her my husband and I do not write post-dated checks. She said you can give me a check for Friday. I said I don't have the checkbook.

She asked if I was on the checking account. I said yes. She said well you can give me the account number. I explained to her again that my husband does not allow me to write post-dated checks. She remarked "Do you do everything your husband tells you?"

Quite frankly I told her that was none of her business. I cannot believe a company is calling people and asking them to do things of this nature. As far as I am concerned she verbally harrassed me. I will not tolerate this kind of crap. I have also written AT&T and the BBB.

This company is rediculous. They better not call me again. I would like to see them come to my door and try to collect with their nasty attitude!
