MWI Simple Escapes
Illegal charge to credit card

This morning, I called Capital One to get the balance on our credit card and to see if my payment of $40.00 went through. To my suprise there was a charge of $29.00 (an overlimit fee), and a charge of $139.95 from a company called MWI SImple Escapes. I ran upstairs and asked my husband if he put a charge on the card, and he stated that he didn't. You see, I was hoping he bought me a special something for Christmas, but he isn't the type to just charge items on his card.

I went online to our credit card statement, and what to my wondering eyes should appear but a company called MWI Simple Escapes with the phone number underneath. Sure enough, the amount of $139.95 was attached to the bill (along with an over limit fee - Hey! We don't use credit cards that often). I called Capital One, and they called MWI*Simple Escapes, and luckily we resolved the situation due to Capital One's wonderful customer service support, and my use of the word "law suit". Simple Escaped PROMISED to take off the $139.95 fee (after a few minutes of them trying to tell me I was full of it). I typed up MWI*Simple Escapes and the first line that popped up was usacomplaints.com.Com, so here I am tody, writing my report.
