When our morgage was sold to ASC, we were in hard times. I was slow paying them, laid off. Checks were late from unemployment. We called to see if they could help us out, and they did. I filled out papers, mailed them, they never got them, filled out same papers, faxed them, they never got them, (even though I had a tracking number that said they did). Before we knew it, we were in trouble, we had three choices -short sale, forecloseure, or give them the home. We opted for the short sale, a broker put in an offer in July after 30 days we called, they have not looked at it (ok) after 60 days same story (ok), we recived a letter, the home is in forcloseure, we called ASC, they told us a short sale will not stop a forcloseure, (ok) in the real estate news, it is posted. We had people doing drive by's and people taking pictures of our home (what a nightmare).in November, a week before Thanksgiving, we had enough, we moved. We called them and gave them back the house.in 48 hours, the house had pad locks on it, even the garage door had a hasp and lock. We thought it was over, in January we get a call from ASC, they want to help us get back into our home. I told them the story, that we could have had the home sold for what we owed, the representative looked at her notes on the computer and she could not believe the company she works for could do this. They told our realator to take down her signs and the lock box off the door. Our house was sold at a sheriff's sale on February 14, and I'm still trying to get information about the sale so I can get back my insurance money. And so it continues.
