United On Line/Juno/Net Zero United On Line/Juno/Net Zero - Attempting to collect non valid debt

The United On Line Collection department is attempting to collect a non valid debt. I have received two collection notices from the company for an account that had been previously closed out. (The account was paid in full when it was closed out.)

There is no detail on the collection notices as to why the money is owed. I attempted to contact the collection department using the phone number on the notice to discuss issue - but the phone # connects to a messaging service. This phone # simply instructs the caller that any contact w/the company must be made in writing to a PO Box in Woodland Hills, CA.

There is no way to contact a live person in the collection department to discuss the account, nor can/will the customer service department assists you in regard to any collection attempts. (I spoke with a Juno customer service supervisor who told me the collection department doesn't have any phone service. What legitimate company doesn't have phone service to aid their customer?)

I have sent two response letters (via certified mail) to the collection department disputing the validity of the dept. The only types of correspondence or reply I receive are additional collection notices.
