Now I know what it feels like to be be ripped off

When my brother's only son was getting married - I decided to look up his china on line. I came upon placesettings.com and found the prices to be good. On 9/11 I ordered 3 placesettings - totaling $242 and some change.

I kept on waiting to hear the merchandise had arrived in Ohio - for the 10/20 wedding as there was a gift opening party the day after the wedding. Nothing!

Last week - 10/22- over 6 wks after I ordered I contacted them by email... I couldn't call because noone ever answers the phone - and there's a message but not an answering machine - not that they'd listen anyway. I received an email the next day saying sometimes it took 4-6 weeks and they were contacting the warehouse. Now - a week later nothing is happening.

I checked my Mastercard account and you'd better believe they took the money for my order on 9/12- the day after I ordered. Sketchy.

Sadly - it's not just MY money - but my sister also ordered 3 placesettings - so that's 2 people screwed.

My husband has begun dealing w our credit card company... I'm not sure how this will play... But who needs this kind of stress?! I will tell everyone I know not to order from this place!
