I got a refund... Ripoff

This agency that I know nothing about took 149 out my account. I also called them faithfully and they first wanted to give me $200 in gas cards rebates. I don't have a car so I told them that I wanted a full cash refund.

So they told me to send in all the package information that came after the membership fee was deducted. I sent the information in and I called to check and see if the got it. They said no but what I could do since I was continuing to check with them was to send in a piece of paper with my name, address and phone number.

So I did that and I even put my email address on there as well. So when I called to check if they recieved that, they told me that they did and I would recieved a refund in ten days. So the check finally arrived. At first the check looked kinda funny but didn't give it a second because I was happy to get my back.

So I went to the bank and deposit the check in my savings account. Everything went fine. There was no problem putting the check into the account.

A week or two later, I look online in my account, I see a returned check in the amount of $149. Then above it was a check return fee. I immediately called the company and they had the temporary leave a message recording on. I left several messages.

Then one day I called and I thought that the fixed the problem because I heard the regular female recording. But going through the steps to talk to a representative, there was a techinical problem because the message got garbled. So I tried again later and that temporary recoding came back on.

So now I am out of $164. ($149 for credit life and $15 that my bank charges for returned checks.) If there is any agency that can help me in going to get my money back from this ageny please contact me as soon as possible.
