Hello my name is katrisha and i really need help on getting my money back.

I recieved a call from gsi grant services telling me that i was approved for a grant for $6,000 to either put donw on a house, pay for school, or start a buisness, or to pay off my credit, and they told me in order to recieve your check i need to pay $298.00 so that they could process my paper work for me and i would have a check with in 72hours to 14days. So i let them take the money out of my account.

I never recieved anything. I called and called to let them know. I did not recieve anything so they kept telling me to call back. So i called and called and i finally recieved a grant book.

So once i recieved it i called and ask them where was my check they told me i had to submit the paper work myself to some companys in the grant book myself. So i ask for a refund. They told me to write them requesting a refund so i did.

They sent me a letter back ask me to see if my bank would charge it back to my account. So i went to my bank to see if i could do it that way. They told me that it had to be with in 60days of them taking the money out. They recieved the money 11/28/05. It was too late to do that so i called the number they gave me to call and there's a recording on both numbers i got from them.

I have my bank statement a copy the letter i wrote them and the letter they sent me back. So please help me. I don't know what to do. I was going to use that money to pay off my credit and now i'm being taken to court cause i thought i was going to recieve my check as they promised me.
