Invalid Bill, Lack of supposed original balance info, Shady email message ripoff

I tried to contact this company. They said they would respond to email only if I put the words "I AGREE" as the subject and body of my email.

Supposedly I was agreeing not to share information about the debt with others. They did not respond to my email after I let them know I was only agreeing that my email address was private, and I refused to send "I AGREE" as the full body and subject of any email I sent to them.

I asked for the original, itemized balance of the bill in question, and they will only provide the "current balance".

This bill was $30.00, and I had left a deposit to cover any balance 10 years ago. Now, 10 years later, I receive this bill from Portfolio Recovery for $1800.00, and they refuse to provide how they calculate this amount, or what happened to the deposit I left.
