Tried to bill us $449 for a service they never provided ripoff bradenton, florida or houston

We recieved a bill from Original Alliance Publications for $449 with invoice #105393. The product listed was an "online publication". I am the newest of two secretaries here and my co-workers name was listed on the bill. I then entered it into the computer. Original Alliance Publications had someone call us about a week or two after the bill was recieved to ask if we had sent a check yet, I informed them that it would be coming soon. When it came time to pay the bill the owner questioned it (because he didn't remember approving it) and had me call them.

I called and got an answering machine and left a message. Then I looked online (because they said they did an online listing) and the only things I saw online were negative reports about how this is a scam. I have tried many times since then to contact the company, but always get the answering machine.

I then went on www.qualitypages.net where they supposedly listed our company (which is what they chaged us for) and there was no listing. So - not only did we not request that they provide us a service, they did not actually provide us with one. We did not lose any money, but I wanted to report this so that more people can be educated and hopefully not get ripped off. Also I hope they get in some sort of trouble.
