Ripped me off on pair of earrings! Ripoff Culver City California

Education & Science

I bought a pair of earrings from bidz.com for $13. They are supposed to be 14K gold hoops with hearts hanging from the bottom, and from the picture they looked like they were a pretty good size. It cost me $10 in shipping, but I thought, if they are 14K gold, maybe they insure them and that makes the shipping cost higher.

Well, I did have to sign for the earrings. I picked them up from the post office today. It appeared from the outside to be an empty envelope. It was about an 8 X 11 envelope in which I felt no box or anything to make be believe there were earrings in there.

When I opened the envelope, there was a teeny-weeny clear baggy about half the size of my thumb with 2 of the tinyest earrings I have ever seen. The hoops were hairline thin and the hearts were no bigger than post earrings!

I am disappointed to say the least. If I try to return them, it will cost 15% for a restocking fee, they refund no shipping, and it would cost me 39 to ship them back. That is definetly all it should have cost in the first place. They dont even look like real gold.

I am writing this report because I dont want anyone else to be decieved as I was. It is a complete rip-off and I want to post that everywere I can.
