In April I purchased 2 pair of gold earrings for my daughter's birthday totalling $310.00.in Nov one of the earrings broke so I sent my daughter to another store to have them fixed. The sales person told her that the name inside the gold earrings were not real gold. The next day on my lunch break I went to the jewelry store and questioned them about the earrings.
The gentleman told me maybe when you put lotion on it makes the jewelry turn black, witch was the color of the name in one pair of the earrings. We went back and forth and he asked me to come back in an hour. I told him I would be back when I got off work and I would take them to another jeweler after I got them. I went back after work and picked them up and it just looked like he cleaned them. The next jeweler I went to told me the name which was written in big letters were silver or some type of other metal. I immediately went back to the store where I purchased the earrings. He denied that the earrings were fake. I told him I was not leaving his store until he gave me what I paid for and I would tell all the customers that came in what he had done to me.
After being in the store for 2 1/2 hours he went to another store and had someone else to take the fake name out of the gold earrings. I work very hard and I was treated like garbage by this jeweler. He was not smpathetic to the fact that I had just finished a long days work and stood on my feet for the entire time i was there, or the fact that he had lied to me twice about the earrings. He actually stood there drinking a cup of tea while I was about to pass out from exhaustion. I hope alot of people red this and not get taken advantage of like I did. I have called channel 9 news to report this but noone has called me back. I won't stop until he is stopped from robbing people.
