Ilegal Harrassment, disregard for consumer laws ripoff Minneaplos

I had a delivery to my work address, strictly for convenience. I returned some of the items. The original debtor refused to credit me for the order so I did not pay. Then it got turned over to Pinnacle as a debt against my employer.

I knew nothing about it until our AP clerk told me. Karen and Courtney have since harrassed many people at work. They said on more than one occasion they would fax the original invoice, never happened. I called the company and told them it was my debt, gave them my home address and number, requested a copy of the invoice and asked them to not call my employer or me at work again. Courtney and Karen started demanding to talk to our CEO to tell him what a lousy employee I was.

After receiving 5 different phone calls in one day I sent a check off for the entire amount along with a letter explaining everything and that I had 30 days to dispute the debt. I sent the check less then 2 weeks after Pinnacle's original invoice date. I called Pinnacle to give them my check number that they could expect but they were not interested in it.

That was a week ago and now they are calling again and demanding. Now I have no idea how to stop the harrassment at work. They are threatening my job now and it must stop. I do plan on sending letters to both my state Attorney General and Minnesotas once the check clears but I am beginning to think that they like what they do and won't cash the check.
