Dishonest fraudulent company only tries to ripoff another person, Knoxville Tennessee Horsham Pennsylvania

On 09/29 at 8:00 AM Felica Young left a message on my husbands cell phone. She only stated her name and that my husband had to call her back within a 45 min period or she would have to be forced to make a decsion. She never stated what company she was with or what the call was reguarding.

On 10/2 my husband called her back and she stated that she was with NCO and that they had been hired by the Dept. Of Ed to collect on his student loan. They wanted $4,000 to settle the debt. When my husband refused they stated that they wanted to payments of $500 for 2 months then $147 for 6 payments. He just had a special needs child born premature. He let them know that we could not afford that. We could do $100 a month. THey wouldn't have nothing to do with that.

They then stated that they would just garnish his wages until the debt was paid in full. My husband gave them permission to talk with me later that night. When I talked with Felica she let me know that she was more or less a customer service to the Dept. Of Ed. I told her that I was not going to give any bank account info due to I have never seen nor head of this company until now.

I still have not recieved anything in writing from this company. Today I did some research and found this company all over the Internet with all kinds of class action law suites, judgements and complaints.

I called back to tell them never to call us again. I got a call back from a Michael. He quoted that under the higher Ed. Calss act of 1965 he could garnish my husbands wages with out going to court or serving us any papers.

All of this is false. He stated that the Dept of Ed hired them to collect this debt. The truth is NCO bought this loan. The Dept. Of Ed never hired NCO. Don't believe anything you are told from these people. They will lie to you to get your money
