Ripoffs!

I rercieved a call one day during the summer. A nice lady asked if I would like to have a free vacation? OF CORSE I WOULD!

So I listened and it sounds legit? But I would have to pay $1.95 for a free trial of mag subscriptions and I would get a free vacation. And they ask what my hobbies are. I say ok but I only have $2 in my account right now (to more than 1 person). Gave me a number to call and cancel before my free trial period ends.

Well I have 2 kids who get into everything so needless to say, I lost the number after so long. I was sent a letter to fill out if I still want to keep it. Ithrew it away because I didn't really want the mags. I wanted the vacation.

After a month or so they call and hang up. I'd call it back and its a menu. I dont know who to talk to because they only let it ring 1 time. So I try to call the number agian the customer service lady answers and says leave your name and number and they will call back shortly.

I called and left my name and number at least 4-5 times. No call back except calling and hanging up? Aafter another 2-3 weeks I get a letter from my bank sayin I have an over draft of 37.90 or something.

Well I haven't taken money out at all (they are the only people with my info) so I asked who took it out and they said CRC. I said well they weren't allowed to take that out. So I said isn't that illegal or something? They said I could call another number from the bank and get it reversed or something.

So I did. Well a few days later I recieve another letter but this ones from CRC. It said weve been advised by your bank that your check # in the amount of 32.90 has been returned due to cust advises not authorised. Please send a money order today for 32.90 PLUS a bad check fee of 25.00 total 57.90 to my attention sincerly bad check dept of crc of central coast.

WELL I Was Pee'd off so I call the number on the letter and talk to a lady. I was nice. I'm a push over. I am almost always nice, and I started explaining how bogus the charges are, and they'd taken out money that wasnt thiers in the first place and everything else that they'd done.

SHE'S like well don't tell these things to me. Take that up with the other part of the company. I said miss, You are the first person I have been able to talk to since I started this stuff. I said tell ya what since I reversed the money I will give you back your $1.95 but that's all you will recieve from me seeing that it's been (2) months and I havent recived the first mag yet.

And she got REALLY snotty sayin, Are you saying that's all your going to pay US? I said mam that's all I owe you! I dont want the mags cancel my acct. Well she said she can't cancel my acct here is a number. The number was automated. It said if you are callin because you havent recieved you info pack, press 1 for anything else call the number on you info pack.

WELL I threw mine away so I couldnt talk to anyone. I got my cousin to call customer service and they sent us to a lady named jessica ext. 2002. My cousin talk to her for an hour and she said they have a NO CANCELATION POLICY after the free trial period has ended. And the hobby thing they asked me they billed me for (8) mags a month. I didn't ask for those either, but I had to pay for all (8). That I would have to pay this for (5) years. Or pay $978.00? If I didnt pay 123.70 by the 10th of sept it would go on my credit.

So this is where I am stuck today. It's been about 3 1/2 months I've recieved (2) mags. It's due and I'm sending my last penny to them because THEY RIPPED ME OFF!
