I think they ripoff

I recived a yello postcard in the mail. It was in my daughters name and decided to give them a call. I to was told that once they recived the money I would recive my paper work in 5-10 days. Then when I called back I was told I was given the wrong info and it takes 15-20 days to recive the info. I finally did recive the info with some stuff to fill out. Now do I wait to see what happens or do I go a head and try to get my money back. Everytime I try to go to the web site I get directed to this one. So there is no web site to go to. What should I do Im retired and on a fixed income.
