Unlces Bobs Storage
Company stealing property from customers

Education & Science

This is the letter I sent the company after having my property stolen by its employees

This letter will serve as a letter of intent to file suit for Breach of Contract, Negligence, Violating the Fair Credit reporting Act.

In Sept I enter into a storage contract with your company, this included a signed automatic debit form filled out and signed by Al Lawrer, the authorized agent who completed the entire contract for storage.

I stored my property that same day, during the unloading your employee Mr. Lawrer commented time and again how nice certain items were and he would love to have them, this included

2 x Penn International 30S reels on Slammer Rods
2 x 3750 Powermate Gas Generators
1 Marlin Bag Lure set
40 Trophies earned over 7 years in international competition that no amount of money will ever replace.

I informed Mr. Lawrer that I would be in Europe for an extended period of time, returning to the US then again traveling to Europe. Upon my second return from Europe I was notified by Equifax Credit watch that Uncle Bob Storage had submitted a claim for $393 on my credit report.

Upon contacting your facility I discovered all of my property had been sold, and that your facility claims that no automatic payment had ever been set up.

A background check of Mr. Lawrer shows a criminal record including petty theft your company failed to properly screen its employee's and I have been criminally robbed. A private investigator has already identified my generators on Mr. Lawrer property.

It is clear that your employee knowing I would be out of the country decided to steal my property and your Manager at the 551 facility confirmed he had been fired for his ethics or lack thereof.

Further your manager claims to have sent numerous letters to me informing me of the actions that would result in my loss of property but NOT ONE single letter was in my mail, not a single phone call was ever left at my home #. And you have been unable to produce a signed Return Receipt Requested showing your company made any such attempts to contact me.

I am going to make an example of our company, which like many in Florida take advantage of people intentionally and willfully.

Attached is the Law Suit that is being filed against your company, your attorney has 20 days to respond once you receive the Certificate of Service.

I want to make this very clear to your company once filed I will be requesting depositions from your current employees, I will submit a Motion for Discovery for all your documents relating to my account and will make your company follow the legal process to the letter.

If your company agrees to write me a check in the amount of $5000 the limit for small claims within a one week period I will agree not to file this suit, if you refuse I will be seeing you in court.
