Synapse Connect
Ripoff results

Education & Science

I received a card in the mail from Snapse Connect, Inc saying I would be charged for magazines I did not order. I looked up on RIP OFF.com and found other people were having the same problem.

I followed the advice about calling the 800 number (all I got was a recording that would not give me a human) and to grunt after each recorded question - I can't believed it worked. Found out later I could have pressed 0 after each question to get a human-that was not on the message! Anyway, the human did answer my questions, cancelled my subscriptions and promised that I was not charged. I feel all fuzzy inside for now, I will watch my statements to see if it true.

They got my name and credit card number! When I ordered tickets from Ticketmaster. I contacted Ticketmaster and they were aware of possible ordering mags but you would have to click yes on a popup to get enrolled... We did not do that and still got enrolled. The person at Ticketmaster went out of her way to investigate the problem and suggested some fixes, and called me back with a supervisor available to talk to me. Thanks Sami! I got results from usacomplaints.com and it really helped... THANKS.
