Same bs happened to me - cost $11,000 and ruined credit - the problem is i tought after 7 years the credit reporting companies would have to remove the derogs off my credit - one sued me, won the case and put a lien on my house! Many of the creditor's somehow "renewed" my disputed amounts in an attempt to keep my credit ruined for life...

I am actually looking into changing my social security number to finally put all this bs to rest - any suggestions? Anyone find an attorney who helped them get past this? Derog info on your credit report is considered "aged" when it's on there many years - but more than 7 years - that seems like i should've filed bk?

Any government agency out there need help prosecuting these clowns? I have a lot of documentation...
