Ripoffed struggling college student $119.90 plus more— without consent or knowledge

A company named Premier Benefits deceivingly took money out of my account. I was told I would be charged $3.95 for a shipping and handling fee and that I would be able to cancel my so called "membership" within 7 days of receiving my "free movie tickets" and $200 gift certificate to selected stores of my choice.

When I tried calling Premier Benefits, I told the person I spoke with that this was completely ridiculous and that I wanted a full refund for all of the charges that had been made to my account.

The man stated that I consented to these charges, so I asked to hear the recorded message in which I apparently said it was ok to charge over $120.00 from my account. He played back the entire message, and what did I find??? Me only consenting to a charge of $3.95 in which I could cancel within 7 days.

I was then told, because obviously the man I spoke with knew I was right and he was wrong, that I would be receiving a form in the mail in which I would be re-imbursed... I'm so sure!

I can hardly believe that I will be receiving a form in the mail within 10-14 days. This type of illegal and unethical activity enrages me and I would love to do something about this. I am currently seeking out others that this has happened to and would love to hear from anyone possible.
