Middle Eastern voice Telemarketing $8,000.00

I received a call on my cell phone from a man who said his name was Wendell Sams, from the Govt. Grant Processing Center. He said I was going to be receiving a $8,000.00 Grant. He wanted to confirm that I had no convictions, no BK in last 3 years, and my taxes were current. He then wanted to know the name of my bank, he already knew the routing number, he then asked for my account number. I told him no way. He said that he already had all of the info he just wanted to verify it. I asked to be transfered to a supervisor and he said as soon as he verified everything he would give me a grant access code and a customer service number. I said no way and then hung up.

I saw this info here and called the 800 #. I spoke with a girl Mandy. I asked for a supervisor and she said that there may not be any available, what did I need. I told her about Wendell, and she said they didn't know who he was. I said his name is Wendell Sams and he is in the Las Vegas office. She said that her supervisor Jeff, (not authorized to give his last name.) would call Wendell and reprimand him because he is not supposed to have my routing and checkig account number and he will find out why he does. When asked Mandy how their compant got my info, she said the Jeff would investigate and Wendell would be reprimanded. She said the she is in the St. George, Utah location.
