Design Center Ripoff, Title Insurance over priced ripoff keep your eyes open with this home builder! Mesa

I recently decided to purchase a new home with Brown Family. There design center is a rip off!!! They over charge for the products by up to as much a 3.00 a sq ft. They also tried to say that the flooring I ordered was 1514 sq ft. I only realized that it should have only been 1308 sq ft when I requested to see my blue prints (which nobody ever does) They are trying to over charge me 204 sq ft at 8.99 a sq ft. Thats $1833 to much. I guess they thought that I would never find out since it was only 200 sq ft. I do not trust them anymore at all! If you are purchasing a home from them check all of their calculations and I would purchase upgrades after completion, not with them they way over charge, they also give you nop credit for standard items.

Their TITLE INSURANCE is also over priced because the builder is to cheap to buy his portion of the insurance and YOU have to pay his part. And you are required to use his title insurance company. You are not told about paying his portion until after you have given your earnest money, so you are afraid of losing you money. Just beware and keep your eyes open with this home builder!
