I ordered a package a week ago online. The online system at www.bedbathstore.com says that the product is available. It charges my card.
1. I pay $97 to overnight the shipment to me.
2.By the end of the week, I call them - and they said it will ship out 3 months later.
They informed me that they are out of stock.
I told them that when a customer pays for overnight shipping - that must means that it's serious enough that they need it the next day.
Why wasn't I notified.
They said - they sent an email out 4 days later which went to junk mail.
So their system is out of whack with their inventory. They do this so they can still take bogus orders and hold in a queue. That means that consumers are led to believe one thing while the backend does another.
They say one thing - while defrauding the consumer just to get the order. I refunded immediately.
Don't tell me that it's in stock and you're overnighting it to me just to let me know that the inventory is screwed up in the system or your dropshipper is out of supply.
