I hired Tri State Builders to build a pre-fabricated sun room. I was led to believe that double payne windows were not needed, and if there was appropriate heat, then it would not matter.

It turns out that it does matter for extra insulation. The condensation on the windows froze, and when it melted, it dripped all over the floor and warped some flooring. On top of this, the room leaked. When it rained, water got into the room and went on the floor as well.

I quickly called to find out about fixing the problem. I wanted to get the leaks fixed, and inquied about getting double payne windows. I will say that they fixed the leaks, but as far as the windows, I tried calling them approximately 30 times and received no response. I got in touch with one of the owners, and he told me that the windows were on the truck. Two weeks passed. I called again, and was told that they were going to come with the windows but they would not tell us when. It would be without notice. I did not care. I just wanted my darn windows.

I would like to say, that this was an upgrade, and I was paying for this. If it had to be for free, I would understand, but this is something that is being paid for.

They guarantee these rooms for life. If there is a rip in the screen, they say they will come out and fix it with no questions asked, no matter what the circumstance is. It so happens that we had a strong wind blow a branch into a screen door. I called to request a call back to arrange a fix. It does not shock me that no one has called me back.

This is the worse example of service I have encountered. There has to be a code of merchantability that they have to adhere to.

What ever happened to service?

I feel ripped off, lied to, strung along, laughed at, taken and not cared about.

My next step is an attourney if you, and the Better Business Bureau cannot help.
