I purchased a cental air cond from sears and the extended warranty so I could have it maintained every years so that I would never have a break down in the middle of summer. Well Surprise, my unit stopped working and they had just been up in April for the yearly maint. On it. So guess how long I have to wait to have someone come up and fix it, - 2 WEEKS&, what good is the service warranty, it sure doesn't get you faster service, I would have been better off buying from a local plumbing and heating contractor and I should not have purchased the extended warranty, that way I could have had someone local look at it, learned my lesson and intend on letting others know, not to buy major appliances thru this company. I even explained to them that I have health issues and cannot be without the aircond. Well they don't care about that either, so I wonder if they will pay my doctor bills. Better yet maybe, I should stop making payments on the unit until it is fixed. Very angry that loyalty doesn't matter to them, will never buy another appliance thru them again.
