I purchased a refridgerator, washer, dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher from Sears along with all the Protection Plans. Last week the dishwasher began to leak. We scheduled an appt, with Sears service. The earliest they could give us was 12/31 (more than a week after we called). They sent us a part out for the repair, and it was the wrong one. My husband had to spend 20 min on the phone explaining what the part was. They expressed shipped another part, which was the exact same WRONG part. I rec'd a call today, 12/30 that they can't come now on 12/31 because they overbooked and we don't have the correct part. I explained to them that we took of from work for this appt, and if they were to come out on 01/04, thei next available appt, it would have to be after 5 because we work. They said that they cannot come them. I explained that I needed to have my dishwasher, and they said to just handwash my dishes. I don't understand why i paid all the money for the protection plan, and I also don't understand why it was left up to us to figure out which part needed to be replaced. If they had to cancel because they overbooked, then why wouldn't they accomodate our schedule. Right now I am sitting on hold with their customer service and have been for 15 minutes. I will never purchase from Sears again, and would not recommend them to anyone.
