Choice Home Warranty
It's 110 degrees in Phoenix and they won't fix my Air Conditioning! The first claim I ever filed with them was denied because they said my 9 yr. Old AC compressor failed because it had a crack in it

I have an active account with Choice Home Warranty. My AC went out and they denied my claim because they said it was a manufacturers defect because THEIR repairman said the 9 yr. Old compressor had a crack in it, so they didn't have to cover it because they deem it as unusual. The average life of a compressor is 7 1/2 yrs. There is NOTHING unusual about a 9 yr old compressor failing.

My repair man who replaced it said it was completely normal wear and tear. I looked at the unit and did not see a crack, as that seems to be their basis for denial. I had to pay almost $1400.00 to have it replaced as it is 110 degrees in Phoenix and no one could live there without AC.

I have submitted everything they have asked for and they continue to refuse to reimburse me.
