Rip-off (wrong estimates) on appliance repairs 7 TIMES AS MUCH!

Ought my refrigerator in telling them it stopped cooling. They told me it would be 98.00 for an estimate. Two days later they said the compressor needed to be replaced, and it would cost me between 600.00-to 700.00. Plus the 60.00 to bring it to me. Later called and said if I decided to get it done the owner would throw in the cost of delivery. I suspected this was bullshit and brought it to another place myself in the back of my truck, (yes I am a lady) and was told that day it was just all a problem with adjusting the compressor! Total cost plus delivery to me... Under $100.00. I had heard they did that put seeing them in action is believing. There are thieves, but there are smart women who get 2nd estimates too.
