We had the misfortune to contact this company when our refrigerator broke in August. Two days before Thanksgiving it was broken again and for a second time we had to throw out a lot of food including some things for Thanksgiving. When we contacted Alex he got surly and said he couldn't come out for a week. His three month guarantee of his first repair was still in effect at the time. Good thing he didn't come out. When we got someone else to look at the refrig (A&E Factory Service), he saw that the compressor had failed. Alex's repair consisted of installing a 'hard start kit' which will give a failing compressor a few more months of life by boosting the amps but will not fix the real problem - a bad compressor. When Alex first 'fixed' the problem he showed me some part that he said he replaced. What do I know about refrig parts? I'm pretty sure he just showed me some part that he had lying around in his truck. He probably figured that he would come back in a few months after the refrig had failed again and charge me for replacing the compressor. This guy is a crook.
