Not Impressed

My BMW was starting to overheat, I took it to Firestone to get it looked at. They diagnosed it and informed me that it needed a new thermostat. I gave the okay for them to go ahead and get it replaced, they did. Charged us about 500 bucks, and it was STILL overheating when all was said and done. The thermostat was obviously NOT the entire problem.

They told us that it would take them too long to diagnose what the problem REALLY was, and that they'd charge me by the hour, and advised that I just take it to a dealership. (Who would end up charging EVEN MORE.) I'm extremely frustrated, because if you supposedly fix my car - and it's STILL not running correctly, you fix it until it is running properly with NO EXTRA CHARGES. It's absurd that they wouldn't complete the repair. Firestone has most certainly lost my future business.
