72 Degrees

I had 72 Degree come to my house to look at my furnace after about an half an hour he said he found my problem it had a crack in the heat exchanger. He showed me a picture of tubes with cracks in it. The picture he showed me was tubes shaped like a U. I called Rheem which made the furnace and gave them the model number and they said it would probably still have a warranty if it had not been neglected. I was suppose to send my old one back for them to look at. I had my furnace tore down to send the part off just to find out that the picture I was showed did not even match my furnace heat exchanger instead of a U it was a round drum which was looked at by the technician and no cracks was found. He put my furnace back together and replaced two gaskets and a nozzle and my furnace has been doing fine. I called 72 Degree today and they said they would refund my service call but I feel they should pay at least half of the bill since that is the reason I had it tore down for to start with. The bill was $560.00 to tear down and put back together. I know one gasket was $96.00 and the other one was $34.00 and the nozzle.
