TVC Scam artist, Rip off, They stole $5,000 from me supposedly to modify 2 of my homes

I totally got screwed by this company. This was when the home modification first came on the map. I was told to pay $2,500 for each home to modify my home loan. That is was 95% guranteed success. Well like a dummie, not only did I do one home I did my home and my friends for a total of $5,000 and BMS wasn't able to do any modification for my homes.
They said if they were unsuccesfull that we would get a refund and they never did. It has been about 2 years now and we got scammed big time. Then they fell off the face of the earth, no website, phone didn't work ect. Now I know there is scam artist out there like this company and that you should never pay for a home modification.
Has anyone been able to sue these people? Or get any of your money back? I never thought these people would have the heart to take people's savings and put it in their pockets with no remorse. I hope they get what is coming to them.
