Ripoff worst built mobile homes not worth the price you pay

I would just like to say that we have had nothing but problems out of this home. Not in just the way it is built, but also with the Corporation as a whole. It takes us forever to get things fixed.

First, we had our tub leak really bad. Then, it was our refrigerator. Which leaked under the linoleum and rotted the floor (took them over a year to replace and fix it).

One thing stated during that ordeal was they couldn't replace the linoleum during the winter because it would crack the linoleium. Couldn't be true because homes are built and constructed all around the world in every season.

Almost every wall in our home is bowing because of moisture. We live in Florida. Yeah there is going to be moisture, but isn't there some sort of code saying that it should be soundly constructed so this isn't a problem.

Our ventilation is bad. One end of the home will be freezing and the other will be hot as if we didn't have our air conditioning on.

At the time and currently, I am in the military and we were looking for a mobile home to move onto our base. Our base allows us to move a mobile home onto it.

Well, to our amazement they have now notified us that they are closing all mobile home parks on military instillations and we have until 2008 to move off.

Not a bad timeframe is what we thought. Until we starting finding out how bad they have screwed us. Our interest rate is 15.35% and we owe about 25-30 thousand dollars over payoff. Which isn't making our situation easier.

We called and talked with them and they said they could offer us a lower interest rate. Which was a change of 1%. This has put a lot of strain on our already stressful military life.

I wish something can be done about this company. As far as I can tell, I believe there are a lot of individuals that have been sucked in to this.

I haven't contacted the BBB yet or put any articles in the area newspapers. I could definately black ball them with the other military personnel in my area. Because of the potential damage caused to our credit and the situation as a whole, I am not afraid to do that.
